Uitvlugt is situated near Dullstroom, in Mpumalanga, only two hours' drive from Gauteng. 

Various activities are offered at Uitvlugt, including hiking trails, mountain biking, trout fishing and hunting safaris.  The hiking trails traverse rocky ridges with breath taking views, cross rivers and mountain streams with refreshing rock pools, for a quick dip in summer, leading to a 10 m high waterfall.  Various game species can be encountered along the way.
