Interesting Info:Highest point on the Ama Poot-Poot hiking trail is approximately 2000 meters above sea level. The difference between the lowest and highest point on route is about 400 meters.

Join us for an amazing adventure on the Ama Poot-Poot Hiking Trail at Uitvlugt Ponds Game Farm in Dullstroom, South Africa. This trail is super beautiful! One cool thing about it is a giant hole called the “Groot Gat” where you can swim and explore near the waterfall. This place is so peaceful, surrounded by nature.
It’s like a secret hideaway from all the busy stuff in life. Whether you love hiking, nature, or just want some quiet time, this spot will make you feel refreshed and happy.
- Sufficient water, at least 2 liters per person, or a water filtration system for refilling along the trail.
- Nutrition: High-energy snacks like trail mix, energy bars, or fresh fruits to keep you fueled throughout the hike.
- Clothing: Dress in layers suitable for the weather conditions. Include a moisture-wicking base layer, insulating mid-layer, and waterproof outer layer. Also, bring a hat, gloves, and extra socks.
- Footwear: Sturdy hiking boots or shoes with good traction to provide support and prevent injuries.
